The Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), 80-53 in Monday's league test.

The Grizzlies (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Independence (Coal City, WV). The Patriots go into the Coalfield AA test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Independence walloped Midland Trail (Hico, WV), 66-62, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 14. Sissonville will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 51-33 non-league loss to St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 1-11.
