In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) baseball squad triumphed over the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), by a final score of 11-1.

With the win, Hoggard upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to encounter the Pirates in a Mideastern 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Topsail won 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Croatan (Newport, NC)
