Minnesota High School Softball - Blaine gets by St. Michael-Albertville
April 12, 2024: Blaine, MN 55434 The Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN) softball nipped the visiting St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN), 7-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bengals (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Duluth East (Duluth, MN). The Greyhounds go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Duluth East held off Northwestern (Maple, WI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, St. Michael-Albertville falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN) to face the Skippers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Skippers enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Minnetonka won 24-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN)
