Maryland High School Softball - Williamsport bounces Clear Spring
April 12, 2024: Clear Spring, MD 21722 Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD), 29-9 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Smithsburg for a CMC challenge on Monday, April 15. Williamsport will battle a Leopards squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD). The Leopards record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Clear Spring falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Blazers host Goretti (Hagerstown, MD) to battle the Gael in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Gael enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Goretti won 22-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD)
