Maryland High School Softball - Williamsport bounces Smithsburg
May 2, 2024: Smithsburg, MD 21783 The Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD) softball routed the host Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD), 11-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Wildcats (10-11) will now prepare for their bout against Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Railroaders go into the CMC bout with a 7-13 record. In their last bout, Brunswick toppled Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD), 15-9, in a non-league bout.
The Leopards now possess a 3-13 record. They play next when they host North Hagerstown for a CMC bout on Friday, May 3. Smithsburg will confront a Hubs squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Williamsport (Williamsport, MD). The Hubs record now stands at 2-16.
