The Calhoun Warriors baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Southwestern Piasa Birds to 3 in the Warriors non-league win on Saturday.

The Warriors now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] for a Western Illinois Valley - South test on Monday, April 14. Calhoun will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 8-5 league win over Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 8-1.

With the defeat, Southwestern drops to 3-8 on the year. The Piasa birds travel to Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL) to clash with the Griffins in a non-league test on Monday, April 14.
