The Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR) baseball got by the visiting Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marshfield for a 4A Sky Em challenge on Tuesday, April 15. Junction City will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Cascade Christian drops to 2-1 on the year. The Challengers host North Valley (Grants Pass, OR) to clash with the Knights in a 3A Southern Oregon challenge on Tuesday, April 15.
