In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting River Valley Vikings softball team scored a nice 18-3 win over the Elgin Comets.

The Vikings (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Liberty Union was routed by Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH), 10-7, in a league match.
