April 12, 2025: LaPlace, LA 70068 The St. Charles Catholic Comets softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting John Curtis Christian Patriots to 7 in the Comets non-league win on Saturday.
The Comets now possess a 22-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph's Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. St. Charles Catholic will confront a Redstickers team coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Redstickers record now stands at 11-15.
With the loss, John Curtis Christian moves to 20-8 on the season. The Patriots host St. Amant (St. Amant, LA) to confront the Gators in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Gators come into the battle with a record of 20-10. St. Amant lost 6-0 in their recent league battle against Dutchtown (Geismar, LA)
