Nevada High School Softball - Pershing County held off by Oasis Academy

The Oasis Academy Bighorns got by the visiting Pershing County Mustangs softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Saturday's league challenge.

Next, the Bighorns meet the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) in a 2A- Northern challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Oasis Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Lakers go into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 18-0 league loss to Incline (Incline Village, NV).

The Mustangs (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Longhorns go into the 2A- Northern challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Battle Mountain held off West Wendover (West Wendover, NV), 16-0, in a league challenge.
