The Round Valley Elks overwhelmed the visiting Phoenix Christian Cougars softball squad by a count of 13-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Elks meet the Winslow Bulldogs (Winslow, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 14. Round Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 14-10 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ).

The Cougars (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Camp Verde (Camp Verde, AZ). The Cowboys go into the 2A Central challenge with a 13-9 record. In their last challenge, Camp Verde held off Arizona Lutheran Academy (Phoenix, AZ), 8-3, in a non-league challenge.
