In Saturday's league match, the visiting Ridgedale Rockets softball team scored a tight 6-0 win over the Ridgemont Golden Gophers.

The Rockets (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH). The Rams come into the Northwest Central match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Upper Scioto Valley nipped Perry (Lima, OH), 15-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Golden Gophers battle the Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) in a Northwest Central match, on Monday, April 14. Ridgemont will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Comets come into the match with a 1-8 record after their 22-0 non-league loss to Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH).
