Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL), 8-4 in a league test.

With the win, Lincoln-Way East upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Griffins travel to Lemont (Lemont, IL) to battle the Lemont HS in a non-league test on Saturday, April 15. The Lemont HS come into the test with a record of 9-4. Lemont won 10-1 in their recent league test against Reavis (Burbank, IL)

With the defeat, Andrew falls to 6-4 on the season. The Thunderbolts host St. Francis (Wheaton, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league battle on Friday, April 14. The Spartans enter the battle with a record of 8-3. St. Francis won 9-6 in their recent league battle against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL)
