The North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) baseball trounced the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), 8-1 in Thursday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) in a Northwest 1A contest, on Tuesday, April 18. North Stokes will attempt to better on its 16-3 season record. The Sauras enter the contest with a 8-6 record after their 6-4 league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC).

The Cardinals now sport a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilkes Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 18.
