North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 9-2 in a league test.

With the win, North Stokes upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to battle the Granite Bears in a Northwest 1A test on Wednesday, May 3. The Granite Bears come into the test with a record of 14-11. Mount Airy won 14-13 in their recent league test against Elkin (Elkin, NC)

With the defeat, Alleghany falls to 1-22 on the season.
