The West Shamokin Wolves baseball team (Rural Valley, PA), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA)

The Stingers now hold a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conemaugh Valley for a non-league outing on Monday, April 17. Marion Center will confront a Blue Jays team coming off a 13-3 league loss to North Star (Boswell, PA). The Blue Jays record now stands at 2-7.

Next, the Wolves confront the Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) in a Heritage outing, on Tuesday, April 18. West Shamokin will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record.
