Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Tri Titans (Straughn, IN), 10-2 in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cambridge City Lincoln for a Tri-Eastern challenge on Monday, April 17. Northeastern will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Knightstown (Knightstown, IN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Tri falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN) to face the Royals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. The Royals enter the challenge with a record of 7-2. Eastern Hancock won 15-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Knightstown (Knightstown, IN)
