In Friday's non-league contest, the Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), by a margin of 20-4.

With the triumph, Tri moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Titans travel to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN) to play the Raiders in a non-league contest on Monday, April 24. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 7-3.

In their next game, the Golden Bears play the Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) in a Mid-Eastern contest, on Tuesday, April 25. Monroe Central will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record.
