April 13, 2024: Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 21-8 record. They take the field next when they host Hueytown for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16.
With the loss, Homewood falls to 9-12 on the campaign. The Patriots host Moody (Moody, AL) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 16-14. Moody won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Calera (Calera, AL)
