Alabama High School Softball - Pelham bounces Homewood
April 24, 2024: Pelham, AL 35124 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL) and the visiting Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL), witnessed Pelham's softball squad prevail over Homewood by a count of 12-2.
The Panthers now sport a 21-12 record. They play next when they host Briarwood Christian for a non-league match on Monday, April 29. Pelham will meet a Lions squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to McAdory (McCalla, AL). The Lions record now stands at 5-19.
With the loss, Homewood moves to 12-14 on the season. The Patriots host Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL) to meet the Mounties in a non-league match on Friday, April 26. The Mounties go into the match with a record of 6-14. Shades Valley lost 9-8 in their recent non-league match against Dora (Dora, AL)
