In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Frontier Cougars baseball team scored a close 6-2 victory over the Federal Hocking Lancers.

The Cougars (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Valley (Pine Grove, WV). The Lumberjacks enter the non-league game with a 0-11 record. In their last game, Valley was overwhelmed by River (Hannibal, OH), 11-1, in a non-league game.
