The Frontier Cougars baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Belpre Golden Eagles to 1 in the Cougars non-league win on Thursday.

The Cougars now hold a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caldwell for a Pioneer Valley test on Monday, May 11. Frontier will play a Redskins team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Fort Frye (Beverly, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 7-9.

With the defeat, Belpre drops to 2-16 on the year. The Golden eagles travel to Alexander (Albany, OH) to play the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, May 8. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 8-13. Alexander won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Waverly (Waverly, OH)
