The Scranton Prep Cavaliers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Scranton Knights to 2 in the Cavaliers league win on Monday.

The Cavaliers now hold a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pocono Mountain East for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 15. Scranton Prep will play a Cardinals team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Emmaus (Emmaus, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-4.

With the defeat, Scranton drops to 3-6 on the year. The Knights host North Pocono (Covington Township, PA) to play the Trojans in a Lackawanna 1 test on Thursday, April 16. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 4-4. North Pocono won 10-3 in their recent league test against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA)
