New York High School Softball - Spencerport can't hold off Penfield
April 14, 2023: Penfield, NY 14526 The Penfield Patriots softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Spencerport Rangers to 6 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Penfield improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Patriots host Victor (Victor, NY) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Class AA game on Saturday, April 15. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 2-2. Victor won 18-3 in their recent non-league game against Canandaigua Academy (Canandaigua, NY)
In their next game, the Rangers clash with the Churchville-Chili Saints (Churchville, NY) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 17. Spencerport will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Saints come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Irondequoit (Rochester, NY).
