The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA) and the host Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), saw Central Mountain's baseball team beat Shamokin Area by a margin of 13-2.

The Wildcats (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Williamsport (Williamsport, PA). The Millionaires enter the Heartland I battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Williamsport defeated Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA), 10-8, in a league battle.

Next, the Indians face the Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA) in a Heartland I battle, on Wednesday, April 16. Shamokin Area will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Seals enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 10-6 league loss to Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA).
