The Central Mountain Wildcats baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Shamokin Area Indians to 2 in the Wildcats league win on Monday.

The Wildcats now own a 15-1 record.

With the defeat, Shamokin Area drops to 6-13 on the year. The Indians travel to Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA) to play the Braves in a Heartland I test on Wednesday, May 21. The Braves go into the test with a record of 7-13. Shikellamy lost 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA)
