The Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA) baseball trounced the host Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA), 17-6 in Monday's league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Huntingdon for a Laurel Highlands East challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Central will clash with a Bearcats team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Hollidaysburg drops to 5-3 on the year. The Golden tigers travel to Richland (Johnstown, PA) to clash with the Rams in a Laurel Highlands West challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Rams go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Richland lost 10-8 in their recent league challenge against Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA)
