The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Lindsay Cardinals (Lindsay, CA), saw Independence's baseball team gain a win over Lindsay by a tally of 12-1.

The Falcons (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Monache (Porterville, CA). The Marauders enter the non-league battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Monache was overwhelmed by Golden West (Visalia, CA), 8-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Cardinals face the Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Lindsay will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bears go into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 20-3 league win over Del Oro (Bakersfield, CA).
