April 14, 2025: McBee, SC 29101 The McBee Panthers baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Sumter Gamecocks to 2 in the Panthers non-league win on Monday.
The Panthers now hold a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cheraw for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. McBee will play a Braves team coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC). The Braves record now stands at 13-3.
With the defeat, Sumter drops to 9-9 on the year. The Gamecocks travel to Cheraw (Cheraw, SC) to play the Braves in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Braves go into the test with a record of 13-3. Cheraw won 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC)
