Selma Bears (Selma, CA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA), 16-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Selma advances its record to 11-5 on the season. The Bears host Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, April 14. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 1-12.

The Chieftains now have a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sanger West for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 15. Sierra will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 11-7 league loss to Sanger (Sanger, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-11.
