The Sierra Chieftains baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Yosemite Badgers to 0 in the Chieftains league win on Friday.

The Chieftains now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fresno Christian for a Northwest Sequoia test on Tuesday, April 29.

With the defeat, Yosemite drops to 8-12 on the year. The Badgers travel to Riverdale (Riverdale, CA) to play the Cowboys in a Northwest Sequoia test on Monday, April 28. The Cowboys go into the test with a record of 10-12. Riverdale won 13-3 in their recent league test against Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA)
