North Carolina High School Soccer - Monroe nudges Anson
April 14, 2025: Wadesboro, NC 28170 Fans at Monday's league battle between the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) and the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), saw Monroe's soccer squad hold off Anson by a count of 1-0.
The Redhawks (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack enter the Rocky River 2A/3A battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Parkwood tipped Anson (Wadesboro, NC), 5-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bearcats battle the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A battle, on Wednesday, April 16. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 10-6 record after their 4-1 league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).
