Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Kennett Blue Demons (Kennett Square, PA), 16-13 in a league test.

With the win, Downingtown East upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA) to battle the Whippets in a Ches-Mont test on Friday, April 23. The Whippets come into the test with a record of 6-1.

With the defeat, Kennett falls to 1-5 on the season. The Blue demons travel to Unionville (Kennett Square, PA) to battle the Longhorns in a Ches-Mont test on Monday, April 19. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 3-2. Unionville won 16-2 in their recent league test against Great Valley (Malvern, PA)
