Illinois High School Baseball - St. Francis wallops Stagg
April 15, 2023: Wheaton, IL 60187 St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL), 12-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL) to battle the Tigers in a Metro Suburban - Blue test on Monday, April 17. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-6. Elmwood Park lost 17-7 in their recent non-league test against Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL)
With the defeat, Stagg falls to 4-10 on the season. The Chargers travel to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to battle the Knights in a Southwest Suburban - Blue test on Monday, April 17. The Knights come into the test with a record of 9-5. Lincoln-Way Central won 19-4 in their recent non-league test against Batavia (Batavia, IL)
