April 15, 2023: Hancock, MD 21750 Southern Fulton Indians (Warfordsburg, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hancock Panthers (Hancock, MD), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Walsh for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Southern Fulton will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 19-4 league win over Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD). The Spartans record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Hancock moves to 1-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Thursday, April 20. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 0-1. St. John's Catholic Prep lost 5-4 in their recent non-league match against Notre Dame Prep (Towson, MD)
