Maryland High School Softball - Hancock can't get by Forbes Road
April 6, 2023: Hancock, MD 21750 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA) softball team held off the host Hancock Panthers (Hancock, MD), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Forbes Road moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The host Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA) to play the Panthers in a Sideling Hill contest on Tuesday, April 11. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 2-3. Northern Bedford County won 16-6 in their recent league contest against Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA)
In their next game, the Panthers play the Southern Rams (Oakland, MD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 8. Hancock will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 12-9 league win over Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD).
