Maryland High School Softball - Walter Johnson bounces Wootton
April 15, 2023: Rockville, MD 20850 Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD), 18-8 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richard Montgomery for a Montgomery County 4A - West challenge on Monday, April 17. Walter Johnson will battle a Rockets squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Churchill (Potomac, MD). The Rockets record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Wootton falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD) to battle the Barons in a Montgomery County 4A - West challenge on Monday, April 17. The Barons enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
