April 15, 2024: Canton, GA 30115 The Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) baseball trounced the visiting Rome Wolves (Rome, GA), 14-8 in Monday's league contest.
Coming up next, the Chiefs play the Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA) in a 6A Area 6 contest, on Tuesday, April 16. Sequoyah will attempt to better on its 17-9 season record. The Buccaneers enter the contest with a 17-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Creekview (Canton, GA).
The Wolves now sport a 3-21 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodstock for a 6A Area 6 contest on Tuesday, April 16. Rome will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-16.
