The River Ridge Knights crushed the visiting Rome Wolves baseball team by a count of 9-3 in Friday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sequoyah for a 6A Area 6 bout on Tuesday, March 12. River Ridge will face a Chiefs team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Cherokee (Canton, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-6.
