New Jersey High School Softball - Burlington City bounces Riverside
April 15, 2024: Burlington, NJ 08016 Burlington City Blue Devils (Burlington, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Riverside Rams (Riverside, NJ), 12-2 in a league challenge.
The Blue Devils now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pemberton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Burlington City will face a Hornets squad coming off a 18-6 league win over STEMCivics (Ewing, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Riverside falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Pennsauken (Pennsauken, NJ) to face the Indians in a BCSL - Freedom challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Pennsauken won 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Palmyra (Palmyra, NJ)
