May 3, 2024: Burlington, NJ 08016 The Burlington City Blue Devils (Burlington, NJ) softball routed the visiting Pemberton Hornets (Pemberton, NJ), 17-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Blue Devils (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Pennsauken (Pennsauken, NJ). The Indians go into the BCSL - Freedom bout with a 10-7 record. In their last bout, Pennsauken toppled Riverside (Riverside, NJ), 10-0, in a league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Pennsauken Tech for a non-league bout on Monday, May 6. Pemberton will confront a squad coming off a 20-1 non-league loss to Camden County Vo-Tech (Sicklerville, NJ). The record now stands at 6-5.
