April 15, 2024: Winnetka, IL 60093 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) and the visiting Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL), saw New Trier's softball squad nip Ridgewood by a count of 6-2.
The Trevians now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbrook South for a Central Suburban - South match on Tuesday, April 16. New Trier will face a Titans squad coming off a 13-9 non-league loss to Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Titans record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Ridgewood falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Rebels host Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 16. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 4-2. Timothy Christian won 10-3 in their recent league match against Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL)
