In Tuesday's league challenge, the Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC) baseball squad the host Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC), by a margin of 7-5.

With the win, Ascend Leadership betters its record to 2-11 on the season. The Aviators host Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC) to encounter the Grizzlies in a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Friday, April 19. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 9-5.
