North Carolina High School Baseball - River Mill gets by Ascend Leadership

April 8, 2024: Sanford, NC 27332

River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC), 11-9 in a league test.

With the win, River Mill upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC) to battle the Knights in a Central Tar Heel 1A test on Tuesday, April 9. The Knights come into the test with a record of 10-3. Chatham Charter lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC)

With the defeat, Ascend Leadership falls to 1-8 on the season. The Aviators travel to Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC) to battle the Lions in a Central Tar Heel 1A test on Tuesday, April 9. The Lions come into the test with a record of 1-7.
