Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Newtown drops to Brookfield
April 16, 2024: Brookfield, CT 06804 Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT), 10-5 in a league battle.
The Bobcats now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Milford for a South West battle on Thursday, April 18. Brookfield will clash with a Green Wave squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Green Wave record now stands at 3-2.
In their next game, the Nighthawks clash with the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a South West battle, on Thursday, April 18. Newtown will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Rebels come into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 10-4 league win over Pomperaug (Southbury, CT).
