Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Newtown drops to Joel Barlow
April 23, 2024: Newtown, CT 06482 In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Joel Barlow Falcons lacrosse squad scored a good 10-2 victory over the Newtown Nighthawks.
The Falcons now have a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host New Fairfield for a South West test on Thursday, April 25. Joel Barlow will face a Rebels squad coming off a 12-6 league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Rebels record now stands at 8-2.
In their next game, the Nighthawks face the Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 27. Newtown will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 3-7 record after their 11-8 league loss to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT).
