April 16, 2024: Red Springs, NC 28377 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) and the host Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), witnessed Fairmont's softball squad prevail over Red Springs by a count of 15-0.
The Golden Tornadoes now sport a 3-11 record. They play next when they host East Columbus for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 17. Fairmont will face a Gators squad coming off a 16-15 league loss to Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Gators record now stands at 11-4.
