Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC), 6-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Myers Park advances its record to 13-3 on the season. The Mustangs host South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Sabres in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 22. The Sabres come into the match with a record of 9-4. South Mecklenburg won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC)

The Lancers now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buford for a non-league match on Friday, April 18. Legion Collegiate Academy will battle a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 5-1.
