Virginia High School Lacrosse - Godwin overwhelms Highland Springs
April 16, 2025: Richmond, VA 23233 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Godwin Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-8 win over the Highland Springs Springers.
The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Matoaca nipped Thomas Dale (Chester, VA), 12-9, in a league contest.
Next, the Springers meet the Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) in a Capital battle, on Monday, April 21. Highland Springs will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 16-7 league loss to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA).
