The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) and the host Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA), observed Tunstall's softball team get by Halifax County by a tally of 13-7.

The Trojans (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Statesmen go into the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Randolph-Henry tipped Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA), 31-1, in a league bout.
